Production Log 4 (Editing)

Throughout this 4th week of processing our latest media production, me and my group partner carried on editing out advert, as we did so, by the end of the week we had fully finished editing the advert. As all the shots were all perfect size we didn't need to make any adjustments to the shots. We mostly worked on putting on graphics on to the advert in the places where we thought were appropriate to do so. We didn't want to overload with the graphics as the advert would not look as neat, we only added about 5 graphics in a 30 second advert which is pretty suitable considering the length. Some of the graphics were dissolves which adds a good look to the advert as one shot travels to the next one in a dissolving motion almost as if it is navigating to a whole different story. The song we ultimately ended up choosing was Jake The Snake's Theme Song from the WWE. This song was in our opinion, very appealing to the style of the advert as it is a song which builds up a lot of tension until the 'click' which the overweight actor does and navigates the advert to a whole different direction. Technically we didn't have any problems this week apart from navigating through 3 different songs trying to find the most perfect song which we did so in the end.
